0307/26EX    TO RECEIVED A PROPOSAL FROM NORTH YORKSHIRE COUNCIL   WITH REGARDS THE OLD OVERDALE SCHOOL SITE

Members considered information relating to the potential transfer of ownership of a section of land at the former Overdale site to the Town Council.

NYC Officers provided an overview of the proposal, including details of the land area under consideration.

Members expressed support for exploring the opportunity further but acknowledged the need for additional information before making any commitment.

Following discussion, it was

RESOLVED:

1. That the Town Council expresses an In Principle interest in investigating the potential acquisition of the identified portion of land at the former Overdale site.
2. That no final decision regarding acquisition be made until the Council has considered the full implications of ownership.
